well all can say is you have all those runners all those big companies with your runners all the sponsors ,charities,supporters, organizations , for all them remember that there same number of people who ride bikes there are soo many more of us who ride did you know that there was over a million of us turned out to see the California tour bike run last year up and down cal and then all who watched on T V, and you for some dumb reason will not have the ride for year # 2 if you have organize a new route for the runners why is it so hard to do it for the bike riders or just get a group of bike riders to do it there are so many groups who can do that cause you cannot.

As corny as this may sound, I am very sad about the change made. I was very much looking forward to this day, and in fact have been training for months for the big day. Now what? Sure my leg’s got some great mileage, however it is not fun if I don’t compete and have a mission behind why I do..it makes it so much more EXCITING and I am sure many if not all of you agree with me…so Please bring it back! Please. Please. I don’t think I’ve ever begged this much, but seriously PLEASE.

really disappointing news.

The chances of closing down 26 miles of LA City streets again are slim to none, so please explain what you mean by ensuring “a world-class experience.”

It is a shame that this Bike race won’t be held in 2010. It has become a tradition amongst me and my friends to reconnect and ride the city streets once a year , and the Bike Race was the only thing that made this a reality.

Duringthe last bike race, I rode my bike while my wife ran the marathon. It was great to see how alot of the cyclists stuck around to cheer the incoming runners. It made the event seem like a large family event. The absence of the Bike Race will truely be felt on race day.

Not having the Bike Race is like having thanksgiving dinner by yourself. Sure you can, but its not the same as having family and friends participate.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE BIKE RACE!!!

Please bring back the ride. This is one of (if not the) biggest true family/community events in Los Angeles. The ride inspired me to run the Marathon, as I’m sure it has for many people. Was really looking forward to the awesome new route!

Honda/Acura, I’m sure if the options no ride or paying a higher entry fee, most riders would opt for the latter.

Hey I do this every year with my friends. I am not a runner and love the event. So fun.

PLEASE bring it back. As an LA resident, it is a great time.
