Roadrunners Training
Program Starts August , 2008
With a phenomenal race day finisher's rate of 99%, Roadrunners is a proven training program. For the 2009 race, Roadrunners is not only expanding from Venice and Ventura to a third location in the Inland Empire; it will offer a level of expertise that is unmatched in marathon training programs.
With 20 pace groups, the program is designed to prepare everyone from the non-runner to the experienced marathoner for race day. The weekly group runs are fully supported with water stations and the products to be featured on race day including Gatorade and first aid. Participants will be provided with a training manual and a weekday training calendar and a Roadrunners performance shirt.
If you're a veteran L.A. Marathon runner, you probably know someone who could benefit from the extraordinary exhilaration that comes from setting the 26.2 mile goal and reaching it. If you're a first timer who has always wanted to run the Marathon, recruit someone who's important to you and train together. Whatever you do, join the Roadrunners for all the support you need to get to the start and finish line.
