The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
Students Run LA uses the process of training secondary students for the LA Marathon to help them improve their health, stay in school, graduate, and go to college. Each year, more than 95% of SRLA students complete the marathon and graduate high school. While running is the core of the program, SRLA students learn that discipline and hard work lead to success both at the Marathon and in life.

TEAM TO END AIDS or “T2” is an endurance event training program benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). We have been training people of all fitness levels to complete marathons, half-marathons, trail runs, and triathlons since 1998. In that time, T2 participants have raised over $20 million for people living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County while helping APLA raise awareness about the disease and the work that is being done to end it.
ThinkCure! brings together exceptional researchers from City of Hope and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in pursuit of research that can quickly improve treatments and outcomes of cancers that affect children and adults. We raise funds through community based events including the LA Marathon, bike rides and other active events throughout Southern California. ThinkCure! is Los Angeles’ very own “Dream Team” and is proud to run alongside those who are fighting for a cure!
