WADSWORTH CHAPEL

The oldest building on Wilshire Blvd, located on VA Medical center campus in West Los Angeles, was built in 1900. After the Sylmar earthquake in 1971, the chapel was closed due to damage sustained in the quake. The building contains two separate chapels separated by a double brick wall.  The building is described as “the most monumental complex of Shingle style Queen Anne structures ever constructed in the Los Angeles area.”
