The Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon is committed to improving the community by offering nonprofits a chance to use our world-class event in order to increase awareness and raise funds for their causes through our Official Charity Program. It truly is … YOUR COURSE. YOUR CAUSE.

Each organization’s mission is special and unique – just like our 25,000+ runners and our amazing 26.2 mile marathon course. This program is a chance for over 100 nonprofits to show the cities of the greater Los Angeles area who they are and what they stand for.

Help us reach our goal of raising over 4.5 Million in 2017 and be a part of the movement by registering to run with one of our Official Charity Partners! Please follow the simple steps below to register to run the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, the Two-person Charity Relay or the LA BIG 5K on behalf of a charity:

• Choose Your Nonprofit: Select an Official Charity from our list of partners and contact them directly.

• Register: Register for the race of your choice using the UNIQUE URL* the charity will provide to you. *Note: Do NOT register in general runner registration. You must contact the charity first.

• Fundraise: Follow your charities directions to start your fundraising and then of course, start training – ENJOY!

Interested In Running for your Own Cause?

We partner with nearly 70 of the most influential nonprofits who work hard to make a difference in your community, and we also understand we might not have that exact cause that is near and dear to your heart! We want your marathon (or 5k!) to be the most meaningful it can be, so if you would like to run for a cause that is not a part of our official program you have 2 choices:

1.) Set up a fundraising page with our partners at JustGiving and select from their database of nearly a million nonprofits and start fundraising. Still don't see what you are looking for? If they are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, they can be added. Visit our JustGiving page to start fundraising today.

2.) Encourage the nonprofit you want to run for to become a community affiliate. Learn more HERE.
