2012 LA Big 5K
The 2012 LA Big 5K winds 3.1 miles through scenic Elysian Park. Serving as the official warm up race for the 2012 Honda LA Marathon, the race draws thousands of participants many of whom are gearing up for the Honda LA Marathon the next day. With both the Start and Finish Line just steps from Dodger Stadium and the Honda LA Marathon Expo, you’re assured a unique “Honda LA Marathon” experience.

PRE-RACE TRAINING RUNS
Join us every Wednesday night starting February 15 – March 7 at 6pm at a Big 5 Sporting Goods store near you for free training runs! Big 5 will provide refreshments, free raffles and door prizes, and an exclusive “one-night only” discount at the store. Plus, some of your favorite Clear Channel radio street teams will be on-site joining in the fun!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Race Day registration is available beginning at 6:30AM at Dodger Stadium in Parking Lot G.
BIB PICK-UP
Participants in the 2012 LA Big 5K may pick up their bibs on Friday at the Honda LA Marathon Expo at Dodger Stadium or Saturday prior to the race.
Friday – 11AM – 7PM — Dodger Stadium, Lot 6
Saturday — beginning at 6:30AM — Dodger Stadium, Lot G

GETTING TO THE RACE
Due to street closures for the LA Big 5K, only two entrances will be open to Dodger Stadium for LA Big 5K participants, the Sunset Gate and the Downtown Gate. These gates will open at 6:00AM. (Note: The Golden State Gate will be closed until 10:00AM due to street closures)
Please allow yourself plenty of time to get into Dodger Stadium and pick up your race packet before the start at 8:00AM. Race day registration and packet pick-up opens at 6:30AM.
