EVENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be 16 years or older on race day, March 19, 2017 to enter the 2017 Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon. There is no age minimum for participation in the LA Big 5K, Santa Monica Classic or Pasadena Half Marathon at the Rose Bowl.
The 2017 Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon has a maximum net race day finish time of six hours and 30 minutes (6:30:59 from the time the last runner crosses the start line). The Marathon course will reopen for public use on a rolling schedule based on this time limit. Participants that fall behind this pace will be directed to the sidewalk and allowed to finish the race, but will not be guaranteed a finishing time.
The sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited. All registration fees and ancillary purchases are nonrefundable. All participants are required to show a government-issued photo ID upon picking up their own participant packet (bib number and timing device) at the Health & Fitness Expo during the scheduled hours of operation (no exceptions will be made).
Please note that the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon reserves the right to reject any entry. Also, we adhere to the standard marathon running industry policy. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is noted on our registration application, and when you register for any of our events you must agree to this policy. You may not alter, reproduce, give or sell your number to another individual – if you do this could result in your disqualification as well as the runner who uses your race number. The entry fee for this year's event will NOT transfer to next year's event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions.
