• Will my credit card be charged when I make a reservation?
  No, your credit card is only used for guarantee purposes and will not be charged unless you are a no-show.
• Will I get a confirmation number?
  Yes, you will immediately get a confirmation number at the conclusion of your reservation as well as an email with your confirmation number.
• I have misplaced my confirmation number.  What can I do?
  Go to the Hotel Reservation Center, click on “Forgot your Confirmation ID?”, then enter your email address used to make the reservation. Your confirmation number will be emailed to you.
• If I call the hotel, will they be able to take my reservation?
  No, all Official Honda LA Marathon hotels will direct you to the online Hotel Reservation Center. 
• Why does the hotel I want not appear in the drop down box when I am trying to make my reservation?
  It could be that the hotel is sold out or does not have any inventory left on the requested days.  Also, many Santa Monica hotels have two-night minimum stay requirements.  If your stay is only one night, those hotels will not appear as available.
• Can I cancel my reservation later without penalty?
  Yes, you can cancel your reservation at any time prior to March 2, 2012 from our Hotel Reservation Center.  After that, you can cancel directly with the hotel up to three days prior to your arrival.
• Can I make more than one hotel reservation for family and friends?
  Yes, but you have to do each one separately.
• How do I change my reservation?
  Go to the Hotel Reservation Center and then enter your confirmation ID in the LOGIN section. Your current reservation will display, and then just make the change(s) you would like.
• Can I switch hotels after I have made my reservation?
  Yes, you can switch hotels, your arrival/departure dates as well as room type. Keep in mind that your ability to switch things is based on current availability. i.e. The hotel you may want to switch to may not be available, or the room type you want to change to may be sold out.
• When does my selected hotel actually get my reservation?
  Your reservation stays in our system until March 2, 2012.  On that date, all reservations are electronically transferred to the hotel.  Wait until at least Wednesday, March 7, 2012 before you call the hotel directly.
• Will I get a confirmation email from my hotel as well?  Will my confirmation # change?
  Chance are you will get an email confirmation from the hotel as well after March 2nd.  Their confirmation # will be different, but most hotel systems now have the ability to cross reference multiple confirmation numbers.
• Is there shuttle service from Santa Monica to the Start Line?
  Yes, check out our Hotel Shuttles page for more information.  Only registered racers will be allowed to board shuttles to the Start Line from Santa Monica.
• Is there shuttle service from Downtown LA to the Start Line?
  Yes, check out our Hotel Shuttles page for more information.  A wristband from an Official Honda LA Marathon Hotel is required to board shuttles from Downtown LA to the Start Line.
• Is there shuttle service from Beverly Hills to the Start Line?
  Yes, check out our Hotel Shuttles page for more information.  A wristband from an Official Honda LA Marathon Hotel is required to board shuttles from Beverly Hills to the Start Line.
• If I do not use the Official Honda LA Marathon Hotel Reservation Center to book a hotel room, can I still catch a Downtown LA or Beverly Hills shuttle?
  No.  Only those who book hotel rooms through the Honda LA Marathon Hotel Reservation Center will receive wristbands that will get them access to the Downtown LA and Beverly Hills Hotel Shuttles.
• Is there shuttle service from the Finish Line back to Downtown LA after the race?
  Yes, check out our Hotel Shuttles page for more information.  A wristband from an Official Honda LA Marathon Hotel is required to board shuttles from Santa Monica back to Downtown LA.
• Is there shuttle service from the Finish Line back to Beverly Hills after the race?
  Yes, check out our Hotel Shuttles page for more information.  A wristband from an Official Honda LA Marathon Hotel is required to board shuttles from Santa Monica back to Beverly Hills.
• Is there shuttle service to the Expo on Friday and Saturday?
  No, there will not be shuttles provided from Official Hotels to the Expo on Friday and Saturday. 
• Is there shuttle service to the LA Big 5K on Saturday?
  No, there will not be shuttles provided from Official Hotels to the LA Big 5K on Saturday.
