CITY OF SANTA MONICA PARKING INFORMATION — PARTICIPANTS ONLY
If you are planning on parking in Santa Monica and taking a pre-race shuttle to Dodger Stadium, you must reserve your parking space. Parking in Santa Monica is convenient to the Finish Line as well as the pre-race shuttles to Dodger Stadium. As a participant, if you DO NOT reserve your parking space, you will NOT be able to park in the City of Santa Monica-owned lots on race morning.
Parking reservations are ONLY for runners who will be using a pre-race shuttle to Dodger Stadium. There are NO in and out privileges with a parking reservation. Parking will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis with the closest lots to the shuttle and finish area being sold first.
The City of Santa Monica strongly encourages participants to reserve a parking space prior to March 9th to ensure a place to park. Please note the following:
- There will be NO OVERNIGHT PARKING in the City of Santa Monica-owned parking lots. All City of Santa Monica-owned parking facilities will be closed overnight between Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 9th. Only participants that have reserved parking spaces will be allowed access to the location specified on the parking pass.
- The options to park for those without a parking reservation are severely restricted because most other downtown Santa Monica parking structures will be closed until 7:00AM to allow for spectator parking later in the day.
- The City of Santa Monica has extensive residential preferential parking regulations which prohibit or limit parking in residential neighborhoods.
**Please understand that the parking rates are set by the City of Santa Monica and the ASICS LA Marathon receives no compensation.
