Since joining the Dodgers in 2014, Justin Turner has been a pillar of the team's community efforts, giving his time, energy and financial support to a variety of charitable efforts throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Justin not only makes community appearances on behalf of the team, but also frequently schedules his own visits to Cedars-Sinai Hospital to spend time with patients as well as to the Los Angeles Dream Center -- a nonprofit that assists homeless families with residential, foster care, medical, life skills and other services.

Students Run LA

Students Runs LA (SRLA) is celebrating our 30th Season!

Each year, SRLA creates a safe, supportive community at 185 public schools across Greater Los Angeles, welcoming more than 3,250 students of all backgrounds and abilities to train alongside their volunteer teachers to complete the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon. Through this life-changing experience, students discover their best selves and learn how to make plans for the future.

Train 4 Autism

Every 20 minutes a child is diagnosed with Autism. Train 4 Autism, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established by families of children affected by this disorder. Our mission is to empower the millions of Americans that are touched by Autism through involvement in endurance events. Our goals are to engage families, raise funds for research and direct treatment, while promoting awareness, education, and community support.

The Running 4 Recovery team supports the residents at Beit T’Shuvah who are working hard every day to turn their lives around. For three decades, Beit T’Shuvah’s unique approach to recovery has been helping people struggling with addiction to rebuild their lives. We have provided treatment to thousands of addicts and their families, most of which cannot afford to pay. When you join our team, you can be the difference in saving someone’s life.

Kitten Rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. We rescue animals from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since 1997, Kitten Rescue has found loving homes for over 18,000 animals, while thousands more have been helped through our volunteer-fueled education and outreach programs.

Students Off And Running (SOAR)

Support a life changing tradition of proven excellence! For more than a decade, Students Off And Running (SOAR) has provided a fully supported, no cost LA Marathon training experience to hundreds of kids in need living in the Santa Clarita Valley, reporting an astounding 100% marathon completion rate since their first students took to the streets of LA in 2007! Alzheimer’s LA’s run4ALZ program is designed for individuals or groups interested in a challenge while raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Funds raised by the run4ALZ group directly impacts families and individuals affected by this disease.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Save Lives and Bring Hope to Those Affected by Suicide

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.

American Indian Community Council

The American Indian Community Council, a 501 (c)(3), is a community based organization in Los Angeles whose mission is to strengthen the overall wellness of the Los Angeles American Indian children, families, and community through leadership development, community organizing, self-determination and cultural values.

Asian American Drug Abuse Program, Inc. (AADAP)

Team AMP (AADAP Marathon Program) is the official endurance event training team for AADAP. This is Team AMP’s seventh season as an Official Charity with the Los Angeles Marathon.Over 200 individuals have participated with Team AMP in the last 7 years, all together raising over $200,000 to support AADAP’s programs and mission to “Change Lives and Save Families”.

Connecting to Cure Crohn's and Colitis unites the IBD community to promote public awareness about Crohn’s and colitis, to fund research for new treatments and cures, and to support patients and their families living with these chronic illnesses.

Friends4Michael Foundation

The primary effort of the Friends4Michael Foundation is to provide assistance – including financial – to families across the country whose children are fighting a brain tumor. The Foundation also provides grants to cancer research charities which supported Michael in his memory.

Girls on the Run

At Girls on the Run we inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.

Guide Dogs of America

Founded in 1948, Guide Dogs of America empowers people who are blind and visually impaired to live with increased independence, confidence and mobility by providing expertly matched guide dog partners. Our services are provided free of charge and available to people within the U.S. and Canada.

Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research

The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is focused on finding a cure for pancreatic cancer, and empowering the patients and families whose lives are touched by this disease. Founded in 1997, the foundation funds groundbreaking scientific research, provides patient education and support, and sustains hope that this cancer will be eradicated once and for all.

KEEN USA

KEEN is a volunteer-led non-profit organization that provides one-to-one programs of fitness, fun and frienship for children and young adults with cognitive and physical disabilities at no cost to their families or caregivers.We accept every child and celebrate each childs unique and beautiful ability!

Marathon Kids

Marathon Kids is on a mission to inspire kids through the power of running. The Organization for Autism Research is the only autism charity that focuses solely on applied research. Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation

T.E.A.L.® stands for both Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation and for teal, the color that symbolizes Ovarian Cancer. Founded in 2009 by two sisters to draw attention to Ovarian Cancer, T.E.A.L.® has grown to become a national movement.There is currently no screening test for ovarian cancer.

The Painted Turtle

The mission of The Painted Turtle is to provide a year-round, authentic camp experience for children with serious medical conditions. The Painted Turtle supports children's medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend completely free of charge.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles matches adult volunteers (Bigs) with kids (Littles) facing adversity to provide professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that have a measurable and transformative impact on the lives of our youth, our mentors and our community.

College Track

College Track is a comprehensive college completion program that empowers students from underserved communities to graduate from college. From ninth grade through college graduation, our 10-year program supports students each step of the way and removes the academic, financial, and social-emotional barriers that prevent low-income and first-generation students from earning their college degree.

Concern Foundation for cancer research

Concern Foundation for cancer research's mission is to conquer cancer by providing essential salary support funds in the early yet critical stages of discovery and the understanding of cancer. With 90-95% of net proceeds going directly to research, Concern has raised more than $60 million dollars and funded 750 cancer research scientists studying cancer.

Junior League of Los Angeles

The Junior League of Los Angeles is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
