What is the Event Policy
Participant understands that ticket and sponsor fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. The McCourt Foundation reserves the right to reject any entry, change the details of the Events without prior notice, and remove Athlete from any Event if the Foundation deems removal to be in the best interest of Athlete, other participants or the Foundation. Athlete understands that if bib number is lost, it will not be replaced. Given all the unknowns with our country's current state as is relates to COVID-19, a postponement or cancellation of this event is possible. If the event is postponed, Athletes bib will be transferred to the new event date. If the event is cancelled, registered participants will be offered: (1) the opportunity to participate in a virtual event; or (2) a partial tax-deductible donation to The McCourt Foundation to support its’ worthy causes and programs. We thank you for your support. While we await guidance from the local and state government on hosting an in-person event, we invite you to register for the 2021 Boston Waterfront 5k, open to walkers and runners. During the registration process, there is an option for an "In-person" race. By registering for the in-person race you understand that the status of the race is based on local and state COVID guidelines and restrictions, and may be transitioned to a virtual participation.
Is this donation tax deductible?
The McCourt Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Where can I mail a check?
Please mail all checks to The McCourt Foundation, 100 Grandview Road, Suite 100, Braintree, MA 02184. If the check should be credited to a specific fundraiser or team, please write that in the memo section of the check.
I can't attend the event. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, all tickets are final sale and cannot be refunded or transferred.

What is the registration fee?
Registration will open on February 15 for $35. The price will increase from there until race day.
